Jolie believes the bathroom is your daily refuge from a world polluted with noise and contaminated with stress. The last thing you need to worry about is the quality of your water and its impact on your wellbeing and the effectiveness of the products you invest in.

Brand Voice

The particular challenge of the brand voice definition was to communicate in a way that peaked the interest of the viewer and encouraged them to pay attention to the impact their water had on their wellness and beauty routines. Positioning Jolie as the friend who is in-the-know, we wanted to give the client the foundation to communicate messaging in a way that is empowering, comprehensible and evocative.

Wordmark & Brandmark

Creating almost a personification of Jolie, this beautiful wordmark feels feminine and clean. The varied weights and character angles of the custom wordmark combine to create a strong and timeless wordmark. For the brandmark we created an abstract J with giving the illusion of a water droplet-like shape.

Color Palette

The chosen light green color reflects a call to nature and the idea of returning to the purest forms of water. It is paired with a neutral tan and a lighter blue complement the green and rounds out the elements of earth and water.

Typography

We chose to use an impact headline font to grab the viewer’s attention very quickly, aligning with the tone of voice. We’ve balanced its impact with simple secondary and tertiary typefaces to solidify the personality of the brand. Jolie is bold, but not shouty.

Packaging Design

Keeping the primary packaging in black and white, color is introduced in the exposed interior of this two-piece box, with lift-off lid. Color is used to communicate features of the product and kept intentional. A dot pattern is illustrated on top of the box as an added element to preview the unique design of the showerhead and give the viewer a glimpse inside the box. The wordmark and brandmark are treated with a spot gloss to give wet look.
