The modular logo design was created to showcase the range of expertise Dori Doors has. The logo’s wordmark, comprised of the sans serif Founders Grotesk, was created to reflect the brand’s attention to detail and reliability. Through the use of consistent line weights in each character, words become pleasant and easy to read, creating a nice metaphor for Dori Doors’ exceptional process and customer experience. Adding a serif typeface to balance out the clean sans serif, with specific details of each letter within the serif typeface, make the lockup feel custom and personal. By writing “New York” in this typeface, it serves to bring a certain level of establishment and quality to the brand.
A call to the brand’s custom designs, the modular logo is completed with changing icons that bring the doors to the brand. Illustrations of actual product are used and rotated to round out the logo design and create a visual representation of the enormous breadth of work in the Dori Doors portfolio.
